Lily Bart and Reynolds's Mrs. Lloyd
This is the painting of Mrs. Richard Bennett Lloydby Sir Joshua Reynolds that Lily Bart replicates in the tableaux vivants scene in Edith Wharton's House of Mirth. The painting dates from 1775-76.
